Is NCERT enough for class 10 boards?

WHY I SHOULD PREFER TO NCERT FOR BOARD EXAMS?
Yes, NCERT is enough for prepare the class X board due to the following reasons:-
Strictly follows CBSE CURRICULUM.
● Offers in depth knowledge over a topic.
● Enough questions to practise.
● Answers are in Simple english.
● Covers fundamental to advanced level of a topic.
However for getting most out of Ncert books, a student has to follow following points:-
● Don’t leave a single line of the book.
● Try to find important points and note it down in notebooks for revising later.
● Practise each and every question from the book at least 3 times.
● In maths a student is facing problem in understanding the concepts then he/she may refer to reference book.
● Follow the pattern of Ncert books for writing answers.
BEST WAY TO USE NCERT | CBSE CLASS 10 BOARDS
For understanding basic concepts, NCERT is a must. For practice, reference books are helpful. Students who have very clear concepts of class 8th and 9th find maths ncert enough to solve a wide range of problems. However other students may need to solve questions from reference books to learn the approach.
For eg. When I had my 10th board maths exam, I had prepared only from NCERT. In the question paper, there was a question that required the formula of the area of a parallelogram to solve the complete problem. I knew the formula, so I found the question quite straight and I told my friends that that was an incorrect question, but they disagreed with me, and asserted that was an RD Sharma question.
As for physics, I solved questions from S Chand because I found physics tough.
